Key Responsibilities:-
Sales Management-The GM will be responsible for developing and implementing sales
strategies to achieve revenue targets, managing the sales team and monitoring their
performance.
Operations Management-The GM will be responsible for ensuring that the operations of
the dealership are smooth.
Branch Management-The GM will be responsible for overseeing the operations and
profitability of all branches across sales,parts and services.
Customer Service-The GM will be responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied
with the dealership’s services and sales resolving customer complaints and implementing
measures to improve customer satisfaction.He will also see pre sales and post sales.
Process Adherence-The General Manager will make sure that all the processes are
being adhered to in the dealership.
Liasoning with Tata Motors-General Manager has to ensure to have a strong liaison with
the personnel of Tata Motors.
Financial Management-General Manager will oversee the budget,monitor expenses and
implement cost control measures.
Inventory Management -The GM will be responsible for managing inventory levels,
ensuring that the dealership has the right mix of vehicles, and implementing measures to
minimise inventory costs.
Team Leadership and Development- The GM will manage and motivate staff, ensure
they are properly trained, and implement measures to improve staff performance.
Marketing & Promotion-The GM will be responsible for developing and implementing
marketing and promotional strategies to increase sales, develop customer loyalty, and
enhance the dealership’s brand image.
Business Development-The GM will identify new business opportunities to expand
dealership’s customer base.He will develop partnership with Fleet owners,government
departments and transport operators.
Reporting-The GM will be accountable to the Managing Director. He is supposed to report
to him for overall work.
